Teachers generally agree that in light of the evolving educational landscape, there is a genuine need to move away from traditional pedagogies such as frontal teaching and text-book driven lessons. To prepare students for the changing world, teachers must be able to use teaching approaches that employ a rich array of strategies to engage and cater to different types of learners. Such engagement is indeed necessary as it not only promotes deeper student learning and understanding, but also enhances student motivation in the classroom.
With this in mind, Educare is partnering Eric Jensen, world renowned author and educationist, to conduct two exclusive fun-filled workshops which teachers will certainly enjoy and learn from. Importantly too, the workshops will provide teachers with classroom strategies that are both novel and immediately applicable in their classroom. Eric will also share with teachers the compelling educational research findings that support every innovative, easy-to-use strategy which they will be introduced to at the workshops.

"Tools for Engagement" is a powerful programme that teaches you how to consistently engage nearly every student, every day, which will end the frustration of student apathy. Expect to gain over 24 sure-fire, easy-to-learn strategies that will activate, involve and engage your students.
You've heard the formula: less engagement means less learning. So ask yourself, "How many minutes in an hour are your students actually engaged?" Put another way, "What percentage of your students are fully engaged, every day?" If you'd like to have better answers to those questions, you're not alone.
The good news is that someone's already figured out the solution. In this workshop, you'll discover that everything you do as a teacher in some way influences the brains of your students. But how do you get students to participate just the way you want, "on cue?" After more than a decade immersed in brain research, Eric Jensen has discovered revolutionary "how-to" ways to influence students in amazing, yet predictable ways. The neuroscience, the psychology and kinesiology disciplines all intersect to put key pieces together. Engage the mind, emotions and body a certain way and you get non-stop engagement.
