Educare Co-operative Limited is a co-operative of the Singapore Teachers’ Union (STU), which has served teachers and the teaching profession in Singapore with distinction for over sixty years. Educare aims to serve our teachers and schools so as to enhance the quality of teaching and the quality of our teachers’ lives – both professional and social. It is committed to providing the highest standard of services to our partners in the education fraternity so as to be a leading education service provider.
Since its inception in 2004, Educare has increased its presence locally and internationally, powered by our core businesses of Schools Services and Consultancy & Training. These services are provided through our subsidiaries, Educare Schools Services Private Limited and Educare International Consultancy Private Limited. Being wholly-owned subsidiaries, they share the same set of values as Educare Co-operative, which is to serve the education fraternity through the provision of quality services.
Educare provides:
- Manpower provision and cutting edge e-learning solutions to the schools, the Ministry of Education and the community in Singapore through its wholly owned subsidiary, Educare Schools Services Private Limited (ESS); and,
- Consultancy and training services through its subsidiary Educare International Consultancy Private Limited (EIC). EIC has professional expertise in the setting up and running of schools, providing teacher
training and evaluation of schools - both in Singapore and abroad.
ABOUT SINGAPORE TEACHERS' UNION
Singapore Teachers' Union is the largest teachers' organization in Singapore with over 12, 000 members. STU has provided consultancy services in projects involving the setting up of international schools, designing and conducing courses in teacher education, curriculum and materials design and other educational projects since the 1980s. In view of the demand for these services from both local and foreign institutions and to ensure more focused and in-depth attention these services, STU established Educare.
