Selection Procedures:

When Educare receives a request for manpower, candidates are shortlisted from a pool according to their fit with the school’s requirement. The interview is then conducted by a relationship manager and a former teaching staff who will assess if the candidates meet the needs of the school and whether the candidates are suitable to work in a school environment. Successful candidates are then forwarded to the school for its final selection.

Staff Development:

Educare believes that learning should be a life-long activity and staff is indoctrinated with this belief from the first day that they joined Educare. Staff who are newly deployed to schools go through an induction programme where they will be briefed on the schools’ working environment and their expected performance; their senior colleagues will also share their experience and tips. Professional development courses that are traditionally meant for teachers are also organized so that they can develop some understanding on the teaching methodology & background on the teachers’ action in class.  

Other events that are organized include team-building sessions and regular sharing sessions among the deployed staff which facilitate knowledge & experience exchange as well as camaderie building. The best practices exchanged among the staff deployed to various schools will eventually be cascaded to each of the school that they serve in.
